OBTAINING YOUR POLICY AND REIMBURSEMENT

Go to www.globaltravelshield.com/

Choose your state

Under "Build your own coverage" - select "Trip Cancellation/Interruption Plan " - and click "Get Quote" button

On the next page - "Quote Calculator" - be sure that the drop box at the top shows "Trip Cancellation/Interruption"
a. Fill in the age ranges of the travellers
b. Using your RP confirmation, divide the total amount of the invoice by the number of travellers - and enter an equal
amount for each (we will not approve your payment reimbursement if this is not accurate)


Hit "Calculate"
Hit "Purchase"

On the "Purchasing" page
a. Fill out the names
b. At the bottom in the "Trip Information"  Section:
(1) Trip Deposit Date - the date you receive the confirmation from us
(2) Departure and Conclusion date - Put in the actual dates you will be at Rancho Pacifico only (we will not approve
your payment reimbursement if this is not accurate)

Click "Go to Step 2"

Scroll down the Product list and highlight ONLY - "Trip Cancellation/Interruption"
Click to go to Step 3

Fill out payment information (any credit card is acceptable)

When you receive a copy of your receipt and policy forward it to, Reservations@ranchopacifico.com - Subject: My
Insurance Receipt

We will review the policy and credit you 50% of the amount of the policy at the time of checkout if all information as
specified above is accurate.


** - The average cost for this comprehensive coverage is about $200 for a six night stay with us.  That means you are
covered for just $100 (you pay half - we pay half)



NOTE:
  • credit for 50% of total cost of your policy will be issued only with proof of purchase of Policy - applied at
    checkout
  • This program will only pay for the policy specified - "GLOBAL TRAVEL SHIELD - TRIP
    CANCELLATION/INTERRUPTION (purchased only through www.globaltravelshield.com)
  • TOTAL COSTS = total reservation invoice.  Coverage is only for costs incurred at Rancho Pacifico.
  • This program is offered as an added service only - Purchase is not mandatory but is rather left to the
    discretion of the guest.
  • This offer applies only to reservations booked directly with Rancho Pacifico (not through an agent or online
    agency such as Expedia)  for 5 or more nights.

  • The following instructions will help you purchase your policy and receive reimbursement from us
    (at the time of your checkout)
  • It is designed to protect your deposits and payments in the event you need to cancel prior to your
    scheduled arrival.
  • The coverage will reimburse you for the amount that will not be refunded by Rancho Pacifico as
    per our Cancellation Policy (see bottom of your Confirmation for detail).
  • This policy is for Cancellation and Interruption coverage only.  If you want other coverages, such
    as Medical, you must purchase those separately.
